Football Coaching Opportunities - now open!

Senior Football Coach Opportunity

The Avoca Football Netball Club is seeking a Senior Football Coach to lead the next phase of our football program.

We are looking for a coach who shares our long-term vision for Bulldogs football and is excited by the opportunity to develop a young playing group, build strong relationships and create a sustainable pathway for player development.

Our Next Gen Bulldogs Roadmap sets out a clear 3–5 year direction for the club, with a focus on building the foundations, developing our current playing group and progressing towards sustained on-field success.

A key part of this vision is our 1-Point Player Strategy – an ambition to build a senior team around local players and footballers who make a genuine long-term commitment to the Avoca Football Netball Club.

We are seeking more than someone to coach on a Saturday. We want a leader who can develop players, set high standards, build a strong football culture and work collaboratively with our committee, coaches and volunteers.

Our Club offers modern facilities, a committed club community and a talented group of young players coming through the ranks.

If you're looking for a coaching opportunity where you can help shape a football program over the coming years, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • Current Working with Children’s Check

  • Level 1 Coaching Accreditation (Level 2 is desirable, or a willingness to obtain)

Reserves Football Coach Opportunity

The Avoca Football Netball Club is also seeking a Reserves Football Coach to work closely with and support our Senior Coach in delivering a connected and well-structured senior football program.

The Reserves Coach will play an important role in developing players, maintaining high standards and preparing footballers for senior selection. The role will support the broader football program and create a clear pathway between reserves and senior football.

Working alongside the Senior Coach and coaching group, the Reserves Coach will help implement a consistent approach to training, game style, player development and football standards.

We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, enjoys developing players and understands the importance of putting the broader needs of the football program ahead of individual outcomes.

This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role within the Next Gen Bulldogs program, helping develop our playing group as they progress through the senior football pathway.
